Generally: income of 2.5–3x monthly rent, credit score 600+, clean rental history, and valid ID. We use Rent Butter for screening so the process is thorough and fair.

How long does the application take?+

Most applications are processed within 2–3 business days. We'll contact you as soon as a decision is made.

Is there a security deposit?+

Yes. Security deposits are handled in compliance with Chicago's CRLTO, which means specific rules about amounts, receipts, and interest. We follow the law to the letter.

Do you accept Section 8 / Housing Choice Vouchers?+

Yes. We welcome housing voucher holders. Please contact us directly so we can match you with an appropriate unit.

How do I get my security deposit back?+
